[honestly, genya doesn't even need to say it's good; his reaction is plain enough. granted, the way he compliments it -- compliments senjuro -- well, the younger boy is steadily getting even redder.]

[what a mixed bag. the reaction and the words leave senjuro at a loss for what to think, exactly... but if he rationalizes it instead of immediately letting his feelings get hurt, surely it won't hurt to at least be certain?]

[Genya's brows lift, expression startled in one second, guilty in another, and then finally sheepish. He tips his head downward for a long moment, then ultimately shakes it.]

[Even the sight of Senjuro's twisting hands makes Genya feel a modicum of guilt. He starts to hang his head, only to stop stock still at that question. He hands there, eyes a little wide and face a rather concerning shade of crimson.
He wills himself to say something, to say anything. If he doesn't, it'll only make matters worse. Senjuro is clearly nervous about this, so -

[poor genya... senjuro also feels guilty for getting him so worked up. maybe he should have just left it alone? but maybe it's okay to be a little selfish, if it ends up well for both of them... ah, he still isn't sure. but at genya nods, so... that's close enough to a yes, right?]
[His next best response is to shove the s'more into his mouth. He tries to chew as quickly as possible, and probably nearly chokes at least once, but it's for a good cause! He lowers his hands, dusting all the crumbs and goo off on his shirt, before reaching out for both of Senjuro's hands.
